Shimon Slavin, Professor of Medicine, pioneered the use of personalized anti-cancer immunotherapy mediated by donor lymphocytes and innovative methods for stem cell transplantation for malignant and non-malignant disorders, including treatment of autoimmune diseases and induction of transplantation tolerance to bone marrow and organ allografts. More recently, Slavin pioneered the use of multi-potent mesenchymal stromal cell for regenerative medicine. Slavin authors 4 books, 660 scientific publications and serves on many editorial boards and many national and international advisory boards. Amer Zeidan MBBS, MHS, is an Assistant Professor of Medicine (Hematology) at Yale University. Dr. Zeidan has completed a hematology/oncology fellowship and a clinical research fellowship in myelodysplastic syndromes at Johns Hopkins University where he also earned a Master of Health Science (MHS) degree in Clinical Investigation. Dr. Zeidan received his MBBS degree from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Jordan, Amman, Jordan before completing his internal medicine residency at Rochester General Hospital, Rochester, NY. Dr. Zeidan's clinical interest is in the management of hematologic malignancies.
